District Nurses

The District Nurses are employed by the Croydon Primary Care Trust. A team under the guidance of a District Nursing Sister is attached to the Medical Centre. Their duties include visiting patients at home when they are unable to come to the surgery.

Each patient's needs are assessed and the care/treatment is planned accordingly. The community nurses provide a domiciliary phlebotomy service in appropriate instances.
