Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat Prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for regular medication. We can also take requests for repeat prescriptions by fax or email. However, repeat prescription requests cannot be taken over the telephone to avoid the risk of mistakes being made.

Written requests should be indicated with a tick on the right hand tear off part of the computerised prescription. You can call in with your written request or post it but if you are not going to collect it, please remember to enclose a stamped addressed envelope for its return or indicate if one of the local chemists will collect it on your behalf.

We are unable to take orders or issue repeat prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours. Please allow two complete working days before collection or posting back to you and do make allowances for weekends and public holidays. To avoid confusion please make clear which medication is being requested.
