Normal Surgery Times

The reception desk is open 9.00 - 18.30 Monday to Friday. The Surgery is closed at weekends and Bank Holidays. Consultations at the medical centre are by appointment. Patients can express a preference to consult with a specific practitioner and we will do our best to abide by these wishes subject to availability of appointments. Patients requesting urgent appointments should phone the surgery before attending to be given a time to arrive, thereby eliminating too long a wait.

Extended Surgery Times

From 2nd June 2008 the practice will remain open for two late evening sessions until 8pm on two nights a week. The two nights will be as follows:

• Week 1: Wednesday night and Thursday night
• Week 2: Tuesday night and Wednesday night
• Week 3: Tuesday night and Thursday night
• Week 4: The same as week 1
• Week 5 : The same as week 2
• Week 6: The same as week 3

Consultations during these periods will be by appointment only. However, patients without appointments who present themselves to the surgery will be seen at the discretion of the doctor if there are appointments available. Patients attending the surgery with appointments during these sessions will need to ring the buzzer to gain entry to the surgery. During these late evening sessions the surgery will not be able to take telephone enquiries. Patients will still be able to contact the Out of Hours Service after 6:30pm in the usual way and normal surgery times will still apply.
